Enjoy transaction fee free banking on our whole Clear Current Account range regardless of whether you have a Clear 1, 2 or 3 Account.

With a Bank of Ireland Clear current account the following services are FREE of charge, no matter how many times you use them.

Lodging and withdrawing cash in branches
Making payments using your Maestro card in the UK
Withdrawing cash from cash machines (ATMS) in the UK, and all Bank of Ireland cash machines in Ireland¹
Setting up standing orders and direct debits for regular payments (we will charge you id set them up for a one-off payment only)
Paying by cheque.

¹We do not charge for withdrawals at cash machines in the UK, however some providers may. In such circumstances the machine will give you notice that you may be charged.

Charges may be applied for the provision of additional services or requests. Full details are provided in our Schedule of Service Charges brochure.

Current Account Charges can be completely avoided by ensuring that there is sufficient money in your account or a sufficient overdraft facility to cover all your outgoings e.g. Direct Debits, Maestro withdrawals, Cheques etc.
